Sunday alone...

Dad has taken all the kids to the farm (Poor old Mum is sick/ feeling sorry for herself/ all alone at home and missing out on all the fun!) Hopefully everyone will be back with full bellies, happy hearts and updates on the donkeys, cows and humans from the farm. The latest treat is sitting on top of Oupa's car... although this adventure has of course ended in tears a couple of times and Mum is petrified about the reaction from Dad AND Oupa if they cotton on! Mum is looking forward to baking the special cakes Dad bought the mix for today... teaching piano... and reading bedtime stories this week. Niamh is having play therapy with Janet tomorrow and the grownups are all excited and worried about it. (Dad is looking forward to reading his book under the big tree!) Fiona and Mongie look smart with their new collars (pink & blue) and they might have just forgiven Mum for this indignity by now. Our house is inching along ... there is a HUGE ditch in the garden which has revealed our perfectly buried secret steps... and Dad and Flynn are planning much more treefelling this week.
